SEEING JESUS

A Day of Joyful Amazement...Praise to the King of Kings!

Will everyone see Jesus?
Some might say, "Do I really want to?" "Do I really have to?"
They are tormented with the fact that they did or have not lived up to Jesus' request to "be faithful to the end."
Remember, as a Christian (Believer)....Don't listen to your flesh or mortal mind as to how it will be when we see Jesus...and how we will react to being with Him forever!

The disciples could not believe their eyes. They fell down worshipping Him. Probably because of His radiance, His glory, His spectacular love for mankind. Jesus never reprimanded Peter for his lack of faith when they saw Jesus after He was raised from the dead. He did not reprimand Thomas for his lack of faith. Jesus just told them to wait for the promised Holy Spirit...and that "I (He) would be with them forever."
Everyone will see Jesus, but will not be with Him forever because they did not believe in Him while they had the chance. Make the right choice before death comes...and will for everyone.
What makes Jesus the exception?
Love for mankind and His brothers and sisters who will be with Him forever. Complete respect for His Father in heaven. Completed sacrifice once and for all...for all who believe!
Jesus...Words that are used to depict Jesus!

The goal of the vision of Christ in Revelation 1:12-17 is not to tell us what Jesus looks like, but rather who Jesus is...and that is the truth found throughout the Word of God.
Revelation 1:12-17, "I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and among the lampstands was someone "like a son of man,"[a] dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. 14 His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. 16 In his right hand he held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance. 17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last."
    He is:
  • The Perfect One
  • The Only Pure One
  • The Source of Strength
  • The Sound of Love
  • The Everlasting Light
What will happen when the believer (you and me hopefully) see Jesus?
  • You will see unblemished purity and unbending strength.
  • You will feel His unending presence and know His unbridled protection.
  • All that He is, you will be...for you will be like Jesus!
  • The promise of John. "We know that when Christ comes again, we will be like Him, because we will see Him as He really is." 1 John 3:2.
    • Since you'll be pure as snow, you will never sin again.
    • Since you will be as strong as bronze, you will never stumble again.
    • Since you will dwell near the river, you will never be lonely again.
    • Since the work of the priest will have been finished, you will never doubt again.

Heaven...God and His Son will be with us...forever!
