SALVATION SCRIPTURES

How to be saved and receive eternal life.

Isaiah 45:22, KJV, "Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else."

NOTE: The choice to receive God's salvation is the single most important decision a person will make in their lifetime on earth. God wants us to look to Him for eternal life. And He has made that free gift of His salvation available to us through His Son, Jesus Christ.
It is not a requirement to know all the scriptures below in order to lead someone to Christ. It is, however, a must for the altar team to be knowledgeable and ready to point someone to Christ by using Scripture and not just his/her personal testimony. Too many times we center in on self in leading someone to Christ when the power of His Word is enough. The Word is penetrating and can cut asunder any spirit of confusion a person seeking salvation might be experiencing. The Holy Spirit is the One that leads, convicts, and convinces a person to come to Christ. The Altar worker is merely a tool or instrument in which the Holy Spirit might use to instruct and help lead a person to Christ.
Romans 10:14, "Now how can they call on one in whom they have never believed? How can they believe in one of whom they have never heard? And how can they hear unless someone proclaims him? And who will go to tell them unless he is sent?"
