GOD KEEPS HIS PROMISES

Promises fulfilled... Promises kept... Promises assured! "... You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed." Joshua 23:14b,

The Bible is full of God's promises and the Word of God constantly reminds us that He is faithful. Let your heart be saturated with God's faithfulness, steadfastness, and compassion as the list of promises is read. The Word of God penetrates deep within our soul as the Holy Spirit teaches us about His incredible character.

Promises fulfilled... Promises kept... Promises assured! God does not lie!

God Promises to:

1. Love you.
   "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."  John 3:16 KJV
   
   
2. Give you eternal life.
   "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."  I John 5:13 KJV
   
   
3. Hear your prayers.
   "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."   II Chronicles 7:14 KJV
   
   
4. Give your life purpose.
   "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will."  Romans 12:1-2 NIV
   
   
5. Guide you.
   "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you."  Psalm 32:8 NIV
   
   
6. Give you wisdom.
   "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you."  James 1:5 NIV
   
   
7. Make you courageous.
   "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."  Isaiah 41:10 NIV
   
   
8. Give you peace.
   "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."  Philippians 4:6-7 NIV
   
   
9. Comfort you.
   "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."  2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NIV
   
   
10. Meet your needs.
    "Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."   Hebrews 4:16 NIV
