A PROPHECY COMING TRUE

This is a lesson (Notes) of which I used in teaching a class in 1999 (23 years ago). I certainly was not predicting the future. However, I also did not realize the truth was being presented way in advance as to what is actually happening today (June, 2022). God is like that. He gives advance warning to the Christian world of coming events that might be a problem or an upcoming catastrophe. In the Bible, many prophecies were shouted out by ordinary "God followers" without them actually seeing the prophecy come true (they passed before the prophecy was fulfilled). I am certainly not a prophet. I am an ordinary Christian American stating what is evident and/or what is obviously being revealed by actual events taking place before our very eyes.

3 Things to Learn from this Lesson

A Christian should stop, look, and listen when these "Alert" messages are evident in our government, our churches, or in an individual’s life:

Danger of uniting with the majority or any organization that has no inner unity concerning belief in Jesus Christ and God’s Word.

Be aware of "making a name for ourselves" instead of deliberately choosing to exalt God’s name and God’s Word.

Understand that man’s view as to what is important in life is and will be "It’s the economy, stupid!"...but, your relationship with the Father is and always will be the most important! 1 Timothy 6:7, 10 Matthew 22:37

Satan will use every means to trick and connive the people of the world in the last days.

The National Council of Churches will be used
The United Nations will be used
Peace will be used
Communism, Socialism, Humanism, Atheism will be used…
The Political System and World Governments will be used
Our Education System will be used…Even our children will be used in turning from obeying parents and their instruction to being indoctrinated in the public school system and Colleges/Universities.

Those who follow Christ will be physically, mentally, and spiritually abused!

Praise God, God’s people (the Overcomers) will triumph through the Blood and Power of Jesus!

Jesus will annihilate the powers of this world…He will be victorious over Satan and all his armies!

Unveiling the Future

In Matthew 24:3, the disciples quizzed the Messiah in saying, "Tell us when shall these things be? What shall be the sign of thy coming and of the end of the world?"

Jesus answered their question(s) in the next two chapters (24 and 25).

He also stated in Mark 13:23 -- "But take heed: Behold I told you everything in advance."

The Scriptures continue to tell us:

Daniel 11:33 -- "They that understand among the people shall instruct many…"

Daniel 11:35 -- "Some of the wise will stumble, so that they may be refined, purified and made spotless until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time."

Amos 3:7 -- "Surely the Lord God will do nothing but that he revealeth His secrets unto His servants the prophets."

1 Thessalonians 5:4 -- "Ye brethren are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you as a thief."

Revelation 19:10 -- "The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

Matthew 24:37 -- "For the coming of the Son of man will be just like the days of Noah."

Luke 17:28a, 30 -- "It was the same as happened in the days of Lot…It will be just the same as the day that the Son of man is revealed."
The world has gone crazy with the idea that "homosexuality" is an acceptable lifestyle.

The Preservation of the Overcomers Before, During, and After the End Game

Revelation 3:10 -- "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth."

1 Thessalonians 5:9 -- "For God has not destined us for wrath but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ."

Psalm 91:14 -- "Because He loved me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him securely on high because he has known my name."

Psalm 91:5-8 -- "Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; nor of the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked."

1 John 4:4 -- "You are from God, little children and have overcome them because greater in He who is in you than he that is in the world."

Matthew 25:5—"While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept and at midnight there was a cry made, Behold the Bridegroom cometh."

Get ready Church (Bride of Christ)…He is coming to take us home.
1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 -- "For we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord…Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

"Look, he is coming with the clouds," and "every eye will see him" (Rev 1:7)
